I wanted to create my own hand-drawn fonts to offer the world.
At the end of 2021, I wanted to figure out a way to bring in more money as a freelance graphic designer.
I loved typography and wanted to try my hand at making my own font but had no idea how. I had ideas for typefaces that didn’t exist anywhere online.
So I learned how to create my first font and uploaded it to Creative Market.
At the end of my first month, I had already made $300 selling my font on that platform. I didn’t really promote them or anything… Just $300 in passive income!
Now, I average at least $1k every month between Creative Market & my own online shop selling my collection of hand-lettered fonts.
That’s enough to pay for all my groceries, my car bill, and more, paid for by my font passive income. My shop is quickly growing and the best part is I can keep stacking my store with more fonts while the old ones sell!

If you’re interested in taking this course, I would recommend you have some prior design experience and knowledge/access to Adobe Illustrator. It helps to have a good hand at drawing, however I’ve seen many font designs that feel like a free-for-all, and doesn’t conform to any rules, and they come out AWESOME!
As long as you have the desire to make your own font, access to illustrator, and want to make passive income by doing so, this course is for you :)

This course is pre-recorded, so you can complete the lessons at whatever pace works best for you! I know some designers who take months to really perfect their font, and some designers who can bang out a font in one day! I would say on average, to really start seeing some consistent sales on Creative Market, give it a couple of months! :)
